foreign who has set their heart to trust and believe in the Lord can never be broken and what I mean by that is a Believer who has encountered Jesus a Believer who has been truly transformed by the power of God you cannot uproot that type of person nor Can you shape them and I believe this is to be the case because the Bible says in Jeremiah chapter 17 verse 7 to 8 the Amplified translation reads blessed with spiritual security is the man who believes and trusts in and relies on the Lord and whose hope and confident expectation is the law for he will be nourished like a tree planted By the Waters that spreads out its roots by the river and will not fear the heat when it comes but its leaves will be green and moist and it will not be anxious and concerned in a year of drought nor stop bearing fruit a Believer who has set their heart to trust in Jesus is spiritually secure that means you aren't vulnerable to attack it doesn't make you immune because we all fall under attack from the enemy at some point but you're not vulnerable You're not exposed let me put it this way think of a house a house where all of the windows have been left open the front dorms wide open the back door is wide open there are no curtains no blinds but there is plenty of valuable material inside that's the picture of a person who is not spiritually secure they are open for attack from the kingdom of darkness because their trust is in everything but go but you see to be a believer who really trusts in Jesus Christ a Believer who really believes the word of God and declares that greater is he who is in me than he who is in the world that person is secure when you put your trust in the Lord there is something that happens within you you have a boldness about you when you know and trust that your steps are ordained by God so where have you placed your trust in whom have you placed your trust in [Music] now allow me to speak about doubt for a moment beware of Doubt because doubt is the enemy of faith doubt will only ever see the obstacles in front of you however faith Faith sees the way Faith believes that God Will Make A Way even when it seems like there is no way doubt we'll see Darkness doubt we'll see despair but faith will see the day Faith will see the light it will see hope doubt will you as a person but when you trust God you could take a leap of faith trusting God dispels all fear faith and fear cannot simultaneously occupy your mind and heart it's impossible you either have one or the other how often do we look in the mirror I'd venture to say at least once a day for most of us we look in the mirror to make sure that we're presentable we look in the mirror to make sure our clothes fit just right now on one end of the scale you have some people who look in the mirror really to admire themselves they want to take a closer look and see if all the work of the gym is paying off or if their new hairstyle suits them better than the last one then on the opposite side of the scale you'll have people who look in the mirror to feed their insecurities they will look in the mirror and see themselves as Too Short too skinny too big or not pretty enough you see the mirror is not just another household item but it's something that affects us internally as well as externally don't you feel good when you look good in the mirror how many of us feel confident or proud even when the work you've put in at the gym begins to show in the mirror and then how many of us feel ashamed or unhappy because of what we see in the mirror now with all that being said I believe that the word of God is like a mirror when we look in the mirror call the Bible we have to begin to answer questions like am I a doer of the word and not just a hearer am I a faithful believer to the Lord do I seek first the kingdom of God am I really bearing good fruit James 1 verses 23-25 says for if you listen to the word and don't obey it is like glancing at your face in a mirror you see yourself walk away and forget what you look like but if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free and if you do what it says and don't forget what you heard then God will bless you for doing it notice how the Bible says if you listen to the word and don't obey it is like glancing at your face in a mirror you see when you look at God's word and you apply it to your life the mirror that is the word of God will begin to show you that you have some pride in your heart that needs to be dealt with you have an issue with unforgiveness or anger the mirror that is the word of God it reveals where you fall short and where Christ can make you whole the mirror that is the word of God it reveals the beauty of Jesus Christ and it reveals the true awful reality of sin people of God let's take a look in the mirror the mirror that is the word of God let's judge ourselves let's examine our own lives based on the standard that is in God's word now as we approach the throne of grace let us keep in mind that mirror that is the word of God that mirror shows us how far God has brought us and it also shows us where we need to allow him to touch Our Lives all the more so that we can be made whole when the storm seems endless in your life may the good Lord grant you Supernatural strength even if the enemy tries to steal your joy may he fail and be crushed by the angel of the Lord which encamps around all those who fear Him I pray for peaceful thoughts in your mind I pray for an overwhelming peace in Divine joy to sit right at the center of your heart for anyone who is uneasy may the Lord calm your spirit May the Holy Spirit Grant you boldness and courage may you stand strong and firm in faith I pray that you will not be found to be fearful in any area
