God Will Not Leave You Where You Are! You’re Moving From One Level To The Next!

foreign have you ever noticed how the word of God takes a deeper meaning when you're facing certain situations in your life when you worry when you're anxious perhaps you're anxious about your finances or maybe your health well the word of God says in Philippians 4 verse 6 be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God or how about when you feel threatened or when you face something that makes you feel afraid well the word of God says for God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind perhaps you are unsettled within you maybe your heart is trouble well John 14 verse 1 says let not your heart be troubled you believe in God believe also in me I urge you today to get to know the word of God for yourself get God's word within you read scripture as often as you can memorize Bible verses and meditate on them as often as you can these are basic things that we should be doing as Christians and the reasons we should be doing this is because we're told in Joshua 1 verse 8 that this book of the law shall not depart from your mouth but you shall meditate on it day and night that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it for then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have good success the importance of God's word is also made clear in Colossians 3 verse 16 as it reads let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom and admonishing one another in Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs singing with Grace in your hearts to the Lord and if you're wondering why God's word is so powerful well it's powerful because of its longevity the word of God has withstood the test of time and we're told in Matthew 24 35 Heaven and Earth will pass away but my words will by no means pass away another reason why God's word is so powerful is because it cleanses it transforms the sinner's mind it reconstructs the sinner's heart [Music] I want to let you know that there is power when you praise God if you look all throughout the Bible you will find many examples of the power that comes from praising God now I believe this to be the case because when we as Spirit-filled Believers lift our hearts in faith and we praise the Lord then his glory his power his presence comes down Psalm 22 verse 3 says but Thou Art holy oh thou that inhabitants the Praises of Israel God and habits the praise of his people I find it extraordinary and Incredibly uplifting because this means that God occupies he lives in the Praises of his people this is why you see that in the Bible Miracles happened because of praise chains are loosed and battles are won when God's people begin to praise him I want to read a short passage of scripture that will help you understand the power of praise now the context to this passage is that King Jehoshaphat received word that there were armies who had declared war against Judah Jehoshaphat was given the daunting news that his enemies a great multitude was marching towards Judah ready to attack the King prayed and fasted and he was told not to fear because this battle belonged to God and so here's what happened According to second Chronicles chapter 20 verses 20 through 23. so they Rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa and as they went out Jehoshaphat stood and said Hear Me O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem believe in the Lord your God and you shall be established believe as prophets and you shall prosper and when he had consulted with the people he appointed those who should sing to the Lord and who should praise the beauty of Holiness as they went out before the Army and were saying praise the Lord for his Mercy endures forever now when they began to sing and to praise the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon Moab and mount Sierra who had come against Judah and they were defeated for the people of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of Mount seir to utterly kill and destroy them and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Sierra they helped to destroy one another Jehoshaphat didn't even have to fight he chose to praise God the Bible says now when they began to sing and to praise the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon Moab and mount seir who had come against Judah and they were defeated learn this lesson when you praise the Lord despite the danger you face he will intervene when you praise God despite your enemies coming against you God will intervene now it may not always be easy to praise there will be days when we may not feel like it there'll be moments when you're so up against it and you're struggling but I can tell you that if only you can learn to praise the Lord with all your heart in those moments you'll find them to be a strong shelter during life storms you'll find him to be more capable of halting and defeating your enemies than you could ever be so hear me people of God praise should become a priority in your life if life hits you and you fall wouldn't it be better to fall into the Loving Arms of Jesus Christ than anywhere else so don't be defined by a diagnosis don't be defined by the numbers in your bank account I've had to talk to myself and remind myself that I have a Creator who has a plan and God's plan will still prevail God's will will still be done he has ordered my steps and so I am not alone my beginning and my end is known by him [Music] my highs and your lows are known by him and I will walk by faith and not by sight believing that the Lord has numbered my good days to exceed my bad days so get to the point where you are content and at peace to say Lord my life is in your hands you have said be anxious for nothing you have said that you know the number of hairs on my head and so I Surrender and yield to your will [Music] foreign [Music]
