[Music] dear friend as I read the scriptures from the Psalms I want to encourage you to receive God's word in your spirit and as you do so may you be overwhelmed with the peace of God may you be overwhelmed with the love of God in Jesus name Psalm 42 As the deer Longs for streams of water so I long for you oh God I thirst for God the Living God when can I go and stand before him day and night I have only tears for food while my enemies continually taunt me saying where is this God of yours my heart is breaking as I remember how it used to be I walked among the crowds of worshippers leading a great procession to the house of God singing for joy and giving thanks and the sound of a great celebration why am I discouraged why is my heart so sad I will put my hope in God I will praise him again my savior and my God now I I'm deeply discouraged but I will remember you even from distant Mount Herman the source of the Jordan from the land of Mount misar I hear the tumult of the Raging Seas as your waves and surging Tides sweep over me but each day the Lord pours his unfailing love upon me and through each night I sing his songs praying to God who gives me life oh God my Rock I cry why have you forgotten me why must I wander around in grief oppressed by my enemies their taunts break my bones they scoff where is this God of yours why am I discouraged why is my heart so sad I will put my hope in God I will praise him again my savior and my God Psalm 6 66 shout joyful praises to God all the Earth sing about the glory of his name tell the world how glorious he is say to God how awesome are your Deeds your enemies cringe before your Mighty power everything on Earth will worship you they will sing your Praises shouting your name in glorious songs come and see what our God has done what awesome Miracles he performs for people he made a dry path through the Red Sea and his people went across on foot there we rejoiced in him for by his great power he rules forever he watches every movement of the Nations let no Rebel rise in defiance let the whole world bless our God and loudly sing his Praises our lives are in his hands and he keeps our feet from stumbling you have tested us oh God you have purified us like silver you captured us in your net and laid the burden of slavery on our backs then you put a leader over us we went through fire and flood but you brought us to a place of great abundance now I come to your temple with burnt offerings to fulfill the vows I made to you yes the sacred vows that I made when I was in deep trouble that is why I'm sacrificing burnt offerings to you the best of my Rams as a pleasing Aroma and a sacrifice of bulls and male goats come and listen all you who fear God and I will tell you what he did for me for I cried out to him for help praising him as I spoke if I had not confessed the sin in my heart the Lord would not have listened but God did listen he paid attention to my prayer praise God who did not ignore my prayer or withdraw his unfailing love from me Psalm 17 oh Lord hear my plea for justice listen to My Cry for Help pay attention to my prayer for it comes from honest lips declare me innocent for you see those who do right you have tested my thoughts and examined my heart in the night you have scrutinized me and found nothing wrong I am determined not to sin in what I say I have followed your commands which keep me from following cruel and evil people my steps have stayed on your path I have not wavered from following you I am praying to you because I know you will answer oh God bend down and listen as I pray show me your UNF failing love in wonderful ways by your Mighty power you rescue those who seek Refuge from their enemies guard me as you would guard your own eyes hide me in the shadow of your wings protect me from Wicked people who attack me from murderous enemies who surround me they are Without Pity listen to their boasting they track me down and Surround Me watching for the chance to throw me to the ground they are like hungry Lions eager to tear me apart like Young Lions hiding in Ambush arise O Lord stand against them and bring them to their knees rescue me from the Wicked with your sword by the power of your hand O Lord destroy those who look to this world for their reward but satisfy the hunger of your treasured ones may their children have plenty leaving an in in heritance for their descendants because I am righteous I will see you when I awake I will see you face to face and be satisfied now let us pray my heavenly father we thank you for your goodness we thank you for loving us sustaining us giving us life and above all thank you for caring so much that you gave your only begotten son so that we may not perish but have eternal life because of you King Jesus we can say that we are redeemed we are loved and we are set free by the blood of Jesus Christ there is no one else like you father I thank you King Jesus for being our Rock and pillar in this world World We Will Rejoice always we will give you our thanks in all circumstances because you have good plans for our lives that is divine and for a greater purpose so we trust that all of our steps are ordered by you we have confidence in your word that tells us to approach the throne of grace boldly and that if I ask anything according to your will then I know that you will hear me thank you for being good to us thank you for being patient with us your word says in Psalms 4:1 answer me when I call to you my righteous God give me relief from my distress have mercy on me and hear my prayer PR We Trust and Believe In You King Jesus that you will answer us when we call out your name you offer us relief from distress you offer wholeness from loneliness or insecurities you offer us love and acceptance when the world would choose to condemn us and for that we are grateful Lord you deserve all glory all the glory glory for your awesome power so great are your abilities that you measured the waters in each and every ocean each River and all of the Seas we praise you because there is no limit to your abilities there's nothing that you cannot do just as the book of Isaiah says whom did the Lord consult to Enlighten him who was it that taught him knowledge there is no one who can Enlighten you because you are the God of Light there is nothing that anyone can teach you because you are filled with Infinite Wisdom your ways are higher than ours your thoughts are higher than our thoughts it's because you are a god of great power might and strength that I adore you and Praise Your Name Lord if you had never loved me if you had never saved me then father where would I be Isaiah 40:22 says it is he who sits above the circle of the earth and its
