If God Opened Your Eyes To See The Spirit World

I want you to just imagine this scene you want a friend are standing there alone in the middle of the battlefield you turn to your left and to your right but there's no one beside you now in front of you is an army all your enemies have gathered together swords are drawn and your enemies have every intention of destroying you in this scenario what would you do would you panic would you drop to your knees and begin to pray what would you do well this is the exact scenario that Elisha and his servant found themselves in and second Kings chapter 6. Elisha and his servant found themselves outnumbered they saw an army they saw horses and chariots everywhere second Kings chapter 6 verse 15 says and when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out there was an Army surrounding the city with horses and chariots and his servant said to him alas my master what shall we do the servant saw that he and Elisha were completely surrounded by their enemies people who were intent on killing them the servant's reaction was one of panic because he said oh no what shall we do but Elisha's reaction which is found in verse 16 and 17 is one of peace Elisha saw something that his servant did not Elisha perceive something that his servant did not the Bible says so he answered do not fear for those who are with us are more than those who are with them and Elisha prayed and said Lord I pray open his eyes that he may see then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man and he saw and behold the mountain was full of horses and Chariots of Fire all around Elisha although they were outnumbered physically they had Heavenly reinforcements dear friend as children of God if our spiritual eyes were open for just a moment imagine what we would see imagine what a sight it would be to behold God's heavenly host of angels who surround us when we're in battle the Bible says he shall give his angels charge over you that's Divine protection and so here's what I would like to encourage you with today as a child of God do not be afraid they that are for us are more than they that are against us as a man or woman of God listening Don't Be Afraid about what the future holds Don't Be Afraid about how you'll overcome [Music] they that are for us are more than they that are against us I encourage you to believe that Jesus Christ can bring about a change in your life he can bring about a change in your home and family and so regardless of what you face regardless of who or what comes against your home remember that you are never alone in battle Psalm 34 verse 7 the bible says for the angel of the Lord is a guard he surrounds and defends all who fear Him [Music] in life the enemies you face will come in many different forms they can come in the form of people and unfortunately sometimes those people may be family members sickness is an enemy because it attacks your health a spirit of heaviness depression both those can be enemies because they attack your mind and your heart this world and all that it has to offer can actually be an enemy because the pleasures of the world they will harm your fate and they will try to tear down your relationship with Jesus Christ but you see what's interesting about the enemies of life is that they come to reveal many things within you you see if God's word is really in you if it's really in your heart then that's where you'll run when you're under attack but listen if you're someone who has a half-hearted prayer line or just some casual relationship with the Lord then how do you think you will react when an enemy comes up against you because at one point or another we will all come up against something or someone an enemy whether it's visible or invisible scene or unseen physical or spiritual sooner or later you will face opposition whether it's someone or something that is against you but the important thing is how will you react David wrote Psalm 35 at a time where I believe he was up against an enemy of some kind or at least the threat of an enemy because if you pay attention to his words his plea to God this is someone in desperate need of help and Rescue and I would like to encourage you that when you do come up against something that threatens you turn to Psalm 35. and pray from the word of God saying contend Lord with those who contend with me fight against those who fight against me take up shield and armor arise and come to my Aid brandish Spear and Javelin against those who pursue me say to me I am your salvation May those who seek my life be disgraced and put to shame May those who plot my ruin be turned back in dismay may they be like chaff before the wind with the angel of the Lord driving them away dear friends may I remind you that God is your protector God is a shield and he can block every attack regardless of what form it comes in it will not Prosper when you're with Jesus Christ our Lord Is A Mighty Fortress that means he's a hiding place in him no enemy whether visible or invisible can touch you so take a step back and try handing things over to God get to a place where you say I'm turning this over to you Lord get to a place where you say I will not spend my life worried I will not try to fix everything and everyone I will trust in you God to fight for me Saints you need to know who your lord and savior is you need to know that he is the author and finisher the beginning and the end and he has never lost a battle [Music]
