[Music] trust God's timing that's what I want to tell you today God's time may not be your time God's time may not be according to your expectations but God has never made a mistake God has never been late he's never missed an appointment and so if you're waiting on God today let me encourage you waiting on the Lord can be hard but here's the thing the weight always has a purpose God has never accidental he's intentional everything he does has a purpose as much as we want to move forward now as much as we want that breakthrough now as much as we want that divine intervention now sometimes we're just not ready sometimes God can see that there is more we have to learn so he makes us wait sometimes God can see that we have more to change so he makes us wait sometimes God can see that we need more growth in our walk of faith and in our spiritual maturity so he makes us wait let me tell you this pray for patience and pray that through this season of waiting God would give you Grace and courage and furthermore pray for God to reveal the next step for you in his timing and finally pray for your heart to be open to the work God's doing through this current season [Music] it's time to take a stand with the word of God against the forces of evil stand firm stand in confidence stand in righteousness Psalm 56 verse 3 says when I am afraid I put my trust in you and God whose word I praise and God I trust I shall not be afraid what can flesh do to me we need to be men and women who put their trust in the Lord and mind you you will only ever be able to stand firm when your trust is secured in the Lord so if you feel stuck if you feel under attack remember that the Bible says in Psalm 31 verse 24. be strong and Let Your Heart Take courage all you who wait for the Lord be strong Saints and stand in faith as you do this the Lord is sure to rescue you and so as children of God I believe I believe that it's time to stand up and lift High his Royal Banner you are an ambassador of the most high stand up to the lies of the enemy stand up with the truth of the Gospel stand up with the strength of the Holy Spirit stand up in God's strength and I encourage you as you stand in faith pray and ask the Lord to be with you as you stand when was the last time you prioritized giving thanks to the Lord when was the last time you genuinely were grateful for the Lord's love being ungrateful and unthankful goes hand in hand with being lukewarm because if you are on fire for God then you won't be able to contain yourself you won't be able to ignore the fact that God has been good to you even though you were undeserving of such love an ungrateful believer is lukewarm because he or she has lost sight of God's goodness they have discounted the love the sacrifice The Passion of Christ and Saints that's a dangerous place to be in a state of unthankfulness a state of ungratefulness because imagine if God took his hand off your life what would you do then how far do you think you would go so you see we ought to be thankful for his consistent love he's protected us without our knowledge he's defended us even in our ignorance that means he most certainly is worthy of all praise so I encourage you to let your prayer be Lord let me never become lukewarm let me never become a wishy-washy Christian but may your fire burn brightly within my heart furthermore it's a dangerous thing to fail to be thankful failing to give thanks to the Lord is a sign of an unrepentant heart there are obvious things we should be thankful for like your health the fact that you have a bed to sleep on food in your stomach electricity and shelter these are basic things things we often take for granted but just speak to someone who doesn't have shelter it's only when you see how they are living that you realize how blessed you are one of the easiest traps to fall into as a Believer is becoming too comfortable it's a dangerous thing to find yourself in a comfortable place where you are neither hot or cold a place where there is no real fire or Spark It's a dangerous thing to Simply get accustomed to God's blessing and begin to take them for granted don't ever take the love of God for granted John 3 verse 16 is a verse that shows just how deep God's love is the Bible says for God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life now you need to apply that to yourself take this verse and apply it to you thank you Lord for loving me so much that you gave your one and only son Jesus Christ so that I may not perish but have eternal life consider just how much physical suffering Jesus endures simply out of love Isaiah 53 verse 5 says but he was wounded for all transgressions he was bruised for our iniquities the chastisement for our peace was upon him and by his stripes we are healed so great was the love of Christ that he was wounded for me and you he was bruised for me and you out of love he was chastised and punished all out of love and the least we could do is have a thankful attitude when did you last take the time to say thank you God for your goodness and there are many reasons to thank God for his goodness as mighty and as powerful as he is God can speak in a still small voice he can speak through the Holy Spirit he can speak through someone you know he can speak through a worship song the voice of God is the only voice we need to be seeking searching and listening for and on a day-to-day level I desire to hear the voices of men and women of God who will challenge me voices that will challenge me to be a better Christian and to do better for God voices that will make me feel uncomfortable about how I am living if there's any hidden sin don't get me wrong it's good to hear a word of encouragement it's good to hear a word of comfort however it's important to hear the word of God concerning repentance concerning salvation concerning eternal life concerning Jesus Christ [Music]
