[Music] when life gets hard remember that nothing can separate us from the love of God when we feel persecuted when we're rejected by the world always remember that nothing can separate us from the love of God when you're under attack when you're under siege and it feels as though Satan and his army are out to bring you down remember that nothing can separate us from the love of God and let me tell you that there will be days where we feel as though you are alone but remember that your feelings will lie to you however God's word never lies and so be convinced be persuaded in fact that nothing can separate us from God's love dear friends we have a God that loves us more than we will ever know and he has given us his grace for this journey of life Romans 8 verse 38 and 39. and the Bible reads and I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love neither death nor life neither angels nor demons neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love no power in the sky above or in the earth below indeed nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our lord the Battleground is the mind and so we need to be diligent when it comes to what goes on between our ears [Music] the bottom line is regardless of how bad or messed up you think your situation is you are not forsaken first John 4 verse 4 says Little Children You are from God and have overcome them for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world Saints the one who is in you the one who's in your heart the one who was called Jesus Christ he is powerful he's more powerful than the one who is in the world now if you really knew this if you really believed this if you are convicted that Jesus Christ your lord and savior is greater than he who was in the world if you believe this then you would be confident in every battle you would be confident even when you're under attack second Corinthians 10 verses 3 through 6. for though we walk in the flesh we do not war according to the flesh for the weapons of our Warfare are not carnal But Mighty in God for pulling down strongholds casting down arguments and every High thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God bringing every thought into captivity to The Obedience of Christ and being ready to punish all Disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled verse 5 says bringing every thought into captivity to The Obedience of Christ this means every thought in your life should be restrained it should be bound under the rulership of Jesus Christ the Bible says in Proverbs 23 verse 7 for as he thinks in his heart so is he eat and drink he says to you but his heart is not with you as you think in your heart so are you a lot of people are victims of their own thoughts they are victims of their own thought patterns and sometimes it's not that God won't work in our lives or it's not that he won't move or break down doors in our lives but rather it's the fact that we lack faith when you like faith and allow doubt to fester in your mind and in your heart this intern creates these negative and often destructive ways of thinking now the Bible in Colossians 3 verse 2 says set your mind on things above not on things on the Earth I find it compelling that the Bible says set your mind we're being told to put our minds in a place where we dwell on Heavenly things we're being told to position our minds to dwell on Heavenly things set your mind on things above doing this establishes a Godly pattern of thinking so ask yourself why do I think the way I do my thoughts line up with the word of God do you pay attention to what you're thinking do you pay attention to the kind of thoughts that you dwell on the things that influence your thinking I'd like to encourage you to take your thought life very seriously God has shown us mercy and we need to be thankful he gave his only begotten son Jesus Christ All Because Of Love Saints God has accepted us and adopted us as his own nothing can separate us from the love of God and I believe that David must have known this promise because in Psalm 138 verse 2 it says I will worship toward your Holy Temple and praise your name for your loving kindness in your truth for you have magnified your word above all your name let me tell you something God is truth the Bible says God is not a man that he should lie the Bible asks the question has he ever promised and not carried it through Saints the only time we are at a loss the only time we are at a disadvantage is when we choose not to trust in the Lord his faithfulness should be the reason we remain strong as believers Hebrews 4 verse 13 says and there is no creature hidden from his sight but all things are naked and open to the eyes of him to whom we must give account we should strive to abide in God's presence always the presence of the Lord is powerful because when you are in his presence there is nothing we can hide in the presence of God there is no sin no secret no unclean thought or selfish intention can be hidden from the Lord in God's presence you can be liberated you can be at peace and you can find rest
