now I want you to also be aware that being in Christ and chasing righteousness that does not make you immune from troubles because the scripture says in Job 14 verse 1 man who is born of a woman is a few days and full of trouble when I read this it hits home these troubles spoken of are the troubles that God is saying bring to me and I will help you these are the troubles that God is saying bring to me and I will help deliver you as long as you're in your rightful standing you will see the hand of God deliver you as long as you are in your rightful standing as long as you are in him in Christ you will see the hand of God reaching out and delivering you we ought to hold on to the promises like those found in Psalm 55 verse 22 which says cast your burden on the Lord and He Shall sustain you he shall never permit the righteous to be moved you see in times of difficulty we have to remember God's nature and his nature can be found in his word in the Bible God is described as a refuge and a deliverer he is described as faithful he is described as Alpha and Omega he is the beginning and the end he is patient caring and loving and so I encourage you to put your trust in the Lord regardless of what you are facing whether you are in a valley or on top of the mountain should be seeking the Lord always Jesus gave us wonderful advice when it comes to Preparing and surviving the storms of life in Matthew chapter 7 verse 24 to 27 the Bible reads everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock and the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat on that house but it did not fall because it had been founded on the rock and everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand and the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against that house and it fell and great was the fall of it and so when the Bible tells us to be like a wise man who built his house on the rock it's telling us that we need to build our faith on the Firm Foundation that is Jesus Christ we're being told to place Our Hope on the solid foundation that is Jesus Christ this is because when the forces of evil try to wreak havoc on your life the strong foundation on which your faith is built upon will not be overcome the walls in your life will not be breached when you have built your foundation on the solid rock that is Jesus Christ you are not shaken by the earthquakes of life you are not blown away by The Winds of life you are not taken under by the floods of life and this is all because God will never fail you he will never let you down we should be seeking the Lord always we need him to lead and guide us we need his grace we need his Mercy we need his protection to keep us safe as we go about our business and above all we need God's presence you see God's presence is extraordinary [Music] when his presence surrounds you you're surrounded by pure love when his presence surrounds you you're covered in safety and there is nothing from the enemy that can touch you in his presence There Is Power so much power that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you so much power that there is nothing impossible it's only in the arms of the Lord that you can find Divine strength it's only in God that you will find strength in your weakness it's only in him that you can do all things because he strengthens you the Bible says in Psalm 95 verse 1 to 2. oh come let us sing to the Lord let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation let us come before his presence with Thanksgiving let us shout joyfully to him with Psalms I don't know about you but I desire to experience God's presence you see God's presence is wonderful when his presence surrounds you you're surrounded by pure love when his presence surrounds you you're covered in safety and there is nothing from the enemy that can touch you in his presence there is power so much power that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you so much power there is nothing impossible [Music] it's only in the arms of the Lord that you can find Divine strength it's only in God that you will find strength in your weakness it's only in him that you can do all things because he strengthens you now part of our strength as Believers should be drawn from his promises promises like those found in Romans chapter 8 verse 38 to 39. where the Bible reads and I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love neither death nor life neither angels nor demons neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love no power in the sky above or in the earth below indeed nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our lord this is an important passage of scripture for several reasons when life gets hard remember that nothing can separate us from the love of God when we feel persecuted when we're ostracized by the world always remember that nothing can separate us from the love of God when you're under attack when you're under siege and it feels as though Satan and his army are out to bring you down remember that nothing can separate us from the love of God and let me tell you that there will be days where we feel as though God is Not There but remember this promise remember this promise of love nothing absolutely nothing whether seen or unseen can separate us from God's love Saints we have a God that loves us more than we will ever know and he has given us his grace for this journey of life he has shown us mercy and not only has he saved us but he has accepted us adopted us as his own so remember this nothing can separate us nothing can separate you from the love of God [Music]
