Don’t Miss The Signs | This Is Why The Bible Calls Us To Wake Up

the Bible is calling us to wake up the Lord wants us to wake up to the fact that there is a heaven and a hell there is a day of judgment if someone is driving down the road and they doze off or their attention wanders they could very well miss some of the road signs telling them where to go well God has given us his children many signs to watch out for the word of God is filled with signs to let us know that time is wrapping up this world will not last forever and that's good news I don't know about you but Heaven from what I've read about heaven it seems to be the better place No More Tears no more sorrow only joy only peace oh to be in the presence of the Lord for all of eternity to be far away from the sickness and disease of this world to be done with natural disasters and Devastation the Bible says in Revelation 3 verse 2 to 3 wake up strengthen what remains and is about to die for I have found your Deeds unfinished in the sight of my God remember therefore what you have received and heard hold it fast and repent but if you do not wake up I will come like a thief and you will not know at what time I will come to you have you ever read Daniel chapter 12 it's one of those chapters whereby if you ever need a reminder of what's to come you have to read Daniel chapter 12. if you ever need a reason to be more focused and determined to live right well read Daniel 12 and it's a it's a chapter that will give you plenty reason to focus on things above and not on the things of the Earth the Amplified translation paints a more Vivid picture of this Revelation in Daniel 12 because the Bible says from verse 1 to verse 3 now at that end time Michael the great Angelic prince who stands guard over the children of your people will arise and there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time but at that time your people everyone who is found written in the book of life will be rescued many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake resurrect these two everlasting life but some to disgrace and everlasting contempt those who are spiritually wise will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever and ever my main prayer request to the Lord is not that my name should be found written in the book of life it's obviously something I want but it's not my main prayer point my main prayer point is not even that I should escape the distresses which verse 1 describes as having never occurred since there was a nation until that time you see my main prayer point is Lord help me keep me alert open my eyes and ears so that I do not miss the signs you are giving us as your children and here's why it's my main point you see the Bible says in Acts chapter 2 verse 17 and in the last days it shall be God declares that I will pour out my spirit on All Flesh and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy and your young men shall see visions and your old men shall dream dreams what a shame what a disaster it would be for any believer to miss the sign we've been told here that in the last days God will pour he will release a steady flow of his Spirit on All Flesh but what a shame it would be for any believer to miss the sun what a shame it would be to miss out on the outpouring of God's wonderful spirit that's why my main prayer point is Lord don't let me miss out on you pouring out your spirit don't let me miss out on this wonderful sign we all know that we're given many different signs about what will happen in the last days how people will act how people will be unfaithful how there will be a nation Rising against Nation but those are not the signs I want to focus on I do not want to miss the sign of God pouring out his spirit in the last days I instead want to be a recipient I want to be a partaker I want the Holy Spirit to flood my life so what is it that you are focused on in the last days because if you're not praying and watching then that day of the Lord will sneak up on you like a thief in the night the Bible tells us in John Chapter 14 verse 2 to 3. in my father's house are many rooms if it were not so would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you and if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and will take you to myself that where I am you may be also it's good news that God is going to bring an end to this wickedness and restore us to our Heavenly homes however until that day comes the Lord has provided us with road signs to warn us that the time is near he has provided us with clear signs that we should know that the end is near the Bible tells us that people will pop up claiming to be the Christ or to be the Messiah but warns us not to listen in other words when Jesus returns we won't need to go around telling each other about it because everyone will know when the Lord returns there is no need for anyone to make a video and announce it we will all see him in the clouds in all his glory and Majesty Luke 21 verse 9 says but when you hear of wars and commotions do not be terrified for these things must come to pass first but the end will not come immediately the wise Among Us Will Be watchful they'll see the signs of the times because they study God's word but the foolish the foolish will fall asleep they will miss the signs because of a lack of knowledge pray for wisdom saints of God we ought to be wise in these times that we live in we ought to be Spirit-filled and spirit-led we ought to get our lives ready and stay ready waiting for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to fulfill his promise foreign [Music]
